The Bathroom Information for the bathroom is the same for the Outside and Balcony Cabins
|
Tiny, compact and only for one at a time, the
bathrooms are the usual "cruise loo cupboard". I
have to say that P&O don't really put their thinking
caps on when it comes to storage. There is a shelf
under the sink which holds loo roll and two blue pool
towels. There were 2 bath, 2 hand and 2 face
towels provided. I tried out the shower gel however
was glad I took my own. There is only a tiny shelf in
the shower to put one bottle of something - so if you
have shampoo, conditioner and shower gel...then
you'll need to kick to bottles around by your feet!
Come on P&O - its not rocket science!
The curtain is the usual sort that sticks to your rear.
The shower was good and hot and in reality that's
the most important thing.
There is the obligatory shaver point, two glasses
and the lighting is pretty good so its functional to a
point but marked as "could do better" when
compared to other lines who seem to manage
storage space like a fine art.
The free smellies included lip balm, usual sowing
kit, something for tired feet and other merriments.

Did the red warning sign catch your attention? It was
supposed to. P&O however have decided to choose
design over safety so all their warning signs on board
are the size of a postage stamp with white writing on
a brown background. So we felt it only fair to point out
here that the Warning in the shower reads "Caution -
check water temperature before stepping into the
shower" or something along those lines. The only
problem being that the writing is so small you have to
step into the shower to read it by which time you've
burnt your bum! So be warned!!!
