    Meditteranean

Have just returned from an excellent Med cruise on Armonia. This is the first time with an Italian cruise
line, previously cruised Suncruises and Thompsons. The ship itself was probably the finest I have been
on. Extremely clean with a lot of glass and mirrors which gave a spacious feel. The best and biggest
cabin we have had. There were no real signs of wear and tear, I don't know how new the ship is or when
    it last had a refit.

The food was excellent, good choice always a choice of aperitif, soup, salad, pasta, main, sweet and tea
or/and coffee. We only ate in the main restaurant as we are not real fans of the buffet as it can be a bit of
a bun fight at busy times. The service was first class, as there were 2 sittings we always had the same
table and waiters and were sat with the same 6 people. This worked for us as we got on well with
    everyone.

The ports of call were OK, we had done most (Venice, Athens, Corfu, Dubrovnik) of them before
although Bari and Katacolon were new. The weather was generally good with just 1 day when the sea
    was a bit choppy.

The entertainment was fairly good, the majority of the entertainers were extremely talented, it was quite
clever how they put on shows for several different nationalities. It was clear from the applause from the
crowd that everyone was enjoying what was on offer. We like the broadway type shows and typical British
entertainment so it was not really our thing. I hate to think how they went on with bingo though.

The only down side was the number of children, I can only assume it was a holiday in Italy. There were
more kids on this cruise than on all the other 11 put together. However there were a lot of activities which
kept them from under the feet most of the time.

On the whole a very enjoyable experience and a worthwhile addition to our cruising experience. I would
have no problem cruising with MSC again, I would however require a discount to do so.
