    Mediterranean

Sailed from Southampton for the Mediterranean Medley cruise to Cadiz for Seville, Barcelona, Monte
Carlo, Livorno for Florence, Civitavecchia for Rome, Alghero Sardinia, Palma, Majorca, Gibraltar and
    back to Southampton.

Embarkation very well organized in our cabin within half an hour....bit of a bumpy ride over the Bay of
Biscay both ways but we managed not to be seasick with no medication.  just kept as low in the ship as
poss.  from then on the weather was absolutely glorious.  Just did excursions for Seville and Florence but
everywhere else did our own thing.

Second time on this ship and it was better this time than last.  Food in dining room was excellent...not so
hot in buffet but OK.  Staff were excellent, cabins very comfortable...balcony not huge but ample room to
sit and have a coffee or tea (we took our own kettle) .  Entertainment was quite good but not as good as
we have had on Thomson ships.  we managed to see something each evening and enjoyed it all except
for one particular comedienne.  We cut our suggested gratuities by half and then paid extras to who we
    felt deserved it.
All in all a very good cruise and itinerary ...we had previously done Iceland and Norway on this ship but it
    has improved since then.
