Member Cruise Review

Well what can I say, we have had a fabulous cruise.  It was everything I hoped it would be.

The Bay of Biscay was extemely kind to us. The Captain was telling us about your crossing at Meet &
    Mingle  .

It was great to meet all our Wakelover cruise buddies at Meet & Mingle, they are a wonderful bunch.

We went to 'Quest' but were lucky enough to get a seat at the back so didn't have to remove any of our
clothing   . It was really funny though

Our table & waiters in the dining room were superb, only one lobster night which was disappointing and
the lobster was very small  but knowing it was my husband's favourite our waiter brought him seconds .
We chose second sitting which was sometimes 8.30 & sometimes 8.45 and sometimes the show was
before dinner & sometimes after, a bit confusing if you hadn't studied your compass properly
We preferred Portofinos to Chopps but both were excellent and well worth a visit. I daren't get on the
scales until at least about November

I managed to collect 7 glasses, I tried the lavaflows which were yummy but my favourite was Perfect
    Patron Margarita (divine )

Our Suite was excellent, we had a bottle of champagne waiting in the room when we boarded & we had
access to the concierge lounge. From 5pm to 8.30 there was an open bar. the Concierge Billy knew our
name & favourite tipple after the first night and no sooner had we sat down our drinks were in front of us
It was also a great place to go for continental breakfast in the mornings. On the day of our Silver
Anniversary he sent a Chocolate cake & bottle of wine to our stateroom

I didn't witness any really unruly behaviour from the children on board, there was the occassional every
button in the lift had been pressed as you got in of course and but one the whole they were fine.

My only gripe is there didn't seem to be enough seating in bar areas. After we finished second sitting we
would find it hard to find somewhere to sit some nights.

Although I am sad to be home I can start planning all again as I have booked the Legend for 4th Aug next
    year from Rome
