best food we have had on land or sea. The service was impeccable thanks to our dining team, Jerica, Collen and Remki. Every night was fantastic...not a bad meal was served. The menus offered a wide choice of fish, red meat, vegetarian, chicken, pasta and healthy options. Top Tip 1: Don't be afraid to ask for more or something different! I had a starter as an entree one evening. We had eaten so much it was untrue! We have never eaten so much on a cruise...we blame the parents for this. Top Tip 2: If the entree you have chosen does not come with the vegetables you loved the night before, just ask! Jerica was bringing us the fantastic mash every night by the last week...regardless of what we had chosen, an extra plate would arrive with mash portions for everyone! If they can oblige, they will. The table next to us had the wonderful chips with everything. A large bowl was put in the centre for everyone to dig in. My mum had seen this happening as she was facing them....she didn't tell us until the second week! "Chips??? What chips? They do chips?" was my response when she told me. Jerica overheard and the next thing you know, a big bowl of chips was on the table! Top Tip 3: Want two puddings?...can't decided what to choose?! Just let your waiter know. It seemed to delight Jerica to see how much we were enjoying the food. The steaks were cooked to perfection. My husband and I like our steaks medium rare....they were spot on. Mum likes very well done and she was delighted with hers too. The puddings were to die for......I also recommend the chocolate ice cream if you are rather podged! Coffee, tea, hot water etc is available after dinner along with speciality coffees. Coffee is served at the same time as dessert which may seem strange to some but it didn't bother us at all. We never felt rushed by our waiting staff. We were on first sitting, 6.15pm and so we appreciated they needed to clear down and set up for the 8.30pm sitting, but they never once pushed us out or dropped hints! Obviously you wouldn't expect them too, but we have experienced this before (not RCI). We don't have a single complaint with the service and food in the Dining Room. I hope you enjoy it us much as we did!
