| Vintages Wine Bar |
served us a complimentary cheese plate which I have to say that considering this was a wine bar and wine and cheese go hand in hand, the plate was rather disappointing. The cheese was straight from the fridge and not half as good as the cheese plate I had in the main dining room. The wine tasting sessions are held here...you can sign up to different levels depending on the quality of wine you want to taste. You can also purchase "Wine Flights". These are packages which consist of wines by the glass from top name producers. The idea being that you can sample fine wine without having to pay fine wine prices for the whole bottle. A tea and coffee station was set up here to (as shown on the picture). It was welcome but slightly took away the overall impression of the bar! The car is a big hit with the kids....most nights they are sat in there pulling on the wheel or messing about with the gadgets. Not sure whether they were supposed to be doing this but no-one stopped them. They sell beer, cocktails and soft drinks in this bar too if you are not a wine fancier. |
